"Bluebeard" (German: "Blaubart") is a 1951 black comedy film directed by Christian-Jaque and starring Hans Albers, Cécile Aubry and Fritz Kortner. Based on the fairy tale "Bluebeard" by Charles Perrault, it was a co-production between West Germany, France and Switzerland. It was made using the Gevacolor process. A separate French-language version, "Barbe-Bleue", was also made.

12-year-old Jakob helps out at his mother's vegetable stand and also carries customers' purchased goods home. One day, an old woman with a long nose comes to the stand and claims that the herbs are bad and were better 50 years ago. Jakob is upset that she holds all the herbs to her nose and crushes them: "Take it away from your long nose!" he shouts and hits her hand. "Don't you like it, my beautiful long nose?" the woman scoffs, "You should have one too, even longer than mine." Finally, she buys some cabbages, which she wants Jakob to carry home for her. Jakob resists but is persuaded by his mother. Other market women whisper whether the old woman is not the evil fairy Kräuterweis.

Der Struwwelpeter is a popular German children's book. It comprises of ten illustrated and rhymed stories, mostly about children. Each has a clear moral that demonstrates the disastrous consequences of misbehavior in an exaggerated way. Writer/director Fritz Genschow adapted Hoffmann's book to the big screen. He made a career doing such films, he had done Hansel and Gretel and would go on to adapt Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and other family films. Der Struwwelpeter, however, is weirder and darker than the Grimms' tales. They are heavy morality lessons in which children are burned to death, starved to death, or have their thumbs cut off. In Hoffmann's world the punishment usually far outweighs the crime. Genschow provided a happy ending: through the wonders of reverse action children are brought back from their fiery deaths, their thumbs are reattached, and their misdeeds undone through the power of St. Nicholas and some sort of Christmas miracle. German-made adaption of the famed Grimm Brothers fairy tale.

Following the death of their miller father, his eldest son inherits the mill, the middle one a donkey, and the youngest a cat. While initially disappointed, the lad soon learns not only that the cat can talk but is quite resourceful.

Two boys put together a colorful film from pictures they have painted themselves that recounts the fantastic story of an adventurous journey. From their hometown, they go out to the open sea, to the depths of the ocean, to the jungle, to the USA, and finally to the moon in a rocket, and from there back home again.

Heidi celebrates her birthday with her friends and her mother. The hunter also comes to the birthday party with a gift from her grandmother, a red cap. At the same time, he has to break the sad news to Heidi that her grandmother is ill. Heidi puts on the cap right away and is henceforth called "Little Red Riding Hood." Since her grandmother couldn't come to her birthday party, Heidi decides to go to her to bring her cake and wine and cheer her up so that she can get well again quickly.

A goblin helps a miller's daughter spin straw into gold, asking in return for her first child, in this amusing 'teaching play' about greed, envy and helpfulness.
