From then on, he replaced death notices with letters, and no one ever suspected the deception because the postman was a talented man – his letters seemed to be written by different people. But this didn’t last long, because during wartime, the military authorities closely monitored the mail.

Based on true events, this tale follows the extraordinary bond between a boy and his dog in besieged Leningrad. In 1939, young Mitya finds joy in the companionship of his loyal dog, Karuza. Their idyllic life is shattered when World War II erupts, plunging Leningrad into a brutal siege where starvation looms over its residents. As despair grips the city, Karuza with her keen instincts and unwavering courage ventures into the perilous streets to scavenge for food. Inspired by Karuza’s remarkable bravery, Mitya decides to join her. Together, they are forging a path through despair and hopelessness. However, their efforts take a dangerous turn when they are discovered by German soldiers during one fateful outing.

The war burst into the peaceful life of three friends suddenly, forever changing their destinies. Each of them went to the front, leaving the most valuable things at home in order to fight for this most valuable thing. Surprisingly, they are helped to survive in this fiery hell of battles with fascism, music. Taking musical instruments with them, friends play to maintain the morale of fellow soldiers, as well as to compose the leitmotif of Victory so desired by all.

June 21, 1941. Young lieutenant Kolya Pluzhnikov, having received an appointment to a permanent place of service, arrives in Brest. Kolya hurries to the location of his unit - the Brest Fortress... The soldier does not have time to enlist in the personnel of the military, and at four in the morning artillery explosions are heard - the war has begun. He was not enlisted in the ranks of the military personnel of the Brest Fortress, but still took part in the first battle in his life, which lasted ten months.

Based on real events. November 1943. The Nazis bring a new batch of Soviet orphans to Vyritsa, where a so-called "children's shelter" is set up in a former pioneer camp. The conditions here are unbearable: cold, hunger, forced labor, a punishment cell for disobedience, and execution for attempting to escape. But the worst thing is that children are used as blood donors for wounded Germans. Despite all the horror and inconceivability of what is happening, having united, the young heroes find the strength and courage to resist and decide to escape.

1944. After the hospital or because of problems with vision and speech, several officers are "written off" to a false airfield. The Nazis take this airfield for the real one, and pilot Ivan Polivanov learns about it at the most inopportune moment.

May 1942. Several units of the Crimean Front troops, together with the city's residents, took shelter from the bombing in the Adzhimushkay quarries. A boy who, using neural network technologies, got into the past, faces a choice: find lost artifacts or help the defenders of the quarries.
