"World Brain" is an essayistic trans-media project by French artists Gwenola Wagon and Stéphane Degoutin. The feature film as well as the interactive website takes the visitors on a dive through the physical shoals of the internet. World Brain explores the utopian dreams and ideologies connected to the development of collective intelligence and the idea of a worldwide network. "World Brain" follows the wanderings of a group of researchers who try to survive in the forest using Wikipedia, aiming at nothing less than the creation of an alternative project securing the survival of manhood.

Planet Harmonie is populated by creatures with forms unknown to humans. Despite the diversity of bodies, their speech consists solely of two words, yes and no. This is what Jésus Pérez discovers upon landing his spacecraft there, his hands full of gifts, manifesting a desire for peace and cultural sharing. During his quest, in search of the master of the land, he will have to face the hostility of the inhabitants, whose cause he does not understand despite numerous attempts at communication. Invaded by profound discouragement, he even begins to question his mission.

However, the film is entirely generated by three different artificial intelligences, in fact, the humans creating the sounds and images are simply the vessel of the marvelous machines. As a matter of fact, we have observed their behaviors, their ways of looking at and creating the world, and their films. Now that we have been fed enough, we have copied and ultimately improved the original film.
