While making a movie in Rio de Janeiro, the singer Roberto Carlos is kidnapped by an international gang that wants to make money with his songs in a computer, together with Pierre, the villain of the movie, and sent to New York.

Year 2000. Brazil was partially devastated by the Third World War. An immigrant family arrives in a small town, which they call "I Forgot." The trio is recruited by an indigenist to pretend to be indigenous during the visit of a general. In the dilemma of integrating into the system or preserving individual freedom, the family moves toward disintegration as the city prepares to launch a space rocket.

Foreign agents from an unidentified nation clandestinely install radio and TV antennas in Rio de Janeiro devices that emit subliminal waves that alter the perception of the population. They aim to transform the people into an aggressive and imbecile mass, leading the country to chaos, allowing the government to be taken to usurp Brazil's natural wealth. A journalist, Carlos, accompanied by chemist Laura Leal, begins to investigate a series of facts and discovers those responsible for the disturbances.

After the success of the first Brazilian space mission, a scientist intends to accomplish an even more audacious feat. His goal is to launch into space the Nationalist rocket II, this time taking two humans to the moon.
