The Wandering Trees is a modern queer short film that delves into the emotional connections between people and the individual's self-identification. Through the stories of two female characters, Zhou and Yu, the film portrays the trials of emotions through time and distance and the struggles and growth of individuals when facing the past and reality. The“tree” in the play symbolises the deep yearning and dependence in people's hearts, while “wandering” represents the pursuit of freedom and the future.
