《呆呆精灵》描述了一只在古堡住了五百多年的调皮精灵灰布，五百年前在城堡内和一群赌徒玩扑克牌，因为耍老千和这些人结下梁子，还遭到雷劈惩罚，变成了城堡的精灵。五百年后，古堡的新继承人朱利安国王为了向琳欧娜女爵求婚，特地到这个城堡来，打算在此举行婚礼，领有阴曹地府所颁发吓人执照的灰布，使出了浑身解数要把“打扰”他的新人类赶出古堡，闹出了一连串笑话……没想到充满喜感的它竟变成了人类的好朋友，最后还和国王、女仆们一同，勇敢地抵抗了意图侵占古堡的邪恶女巫……
